Not much happening here in Ecosse....
Not much has been happening here since we last blogged, besides the usual late nights, a couple of birthdays, a post wedding celebration and Easter. We just thought we might post a couple of pics.
A couple of weeks ago we went to Oban for a day trip to organise our National Insurance numbers (similar to a tax file number) it was nice to head of somewhere other than Glasgow. We are going to make more of an effort to get out and about more often and see some more of Scotland.
We also continued our house sitting tour of Inveraray by looking after Kris and Marine's flat above the hotel while she was visiting family in France and he was partying in Majorca, you can get a bird's eye view of half the town from their windows. No wonder they always know what's going on.....
Easter was mental work-wise, we are starting to see just how popular this little hotel is. All weekend we were running waiting lists with some people waiting over an hour just to be seated-crazy stuff!
And that's about it....
Oh and by the way, what do you get when you drop an elephant down a mine shaft?
Photos: A quiet night in with our bounty of food and wine (don't worry Adam only looks that skinny because his hair is so big), the hills have eyes, these trees are made for hugging they are nice and soft, the Colosseum?? in Oban

Well, my guess is a flat miner but I think that is the sound you hear when the elephant hits the bottom A-flat minor
An elephant was drinking out of a river one day when he spotted a turtle named Huck basking on a log. The elephant ambled on over and kicked Huck clear across the river!
"What did you do that for?" asked a passing giraffe.
"Because I recognized it as the same turtle that took a nip out of my trunk fifty-three years ago."
"Wow, what a memory!" commented the giraffe.
"Yes, " said the elephant, "turtle recall."
what bad jokes!
why are you guys avoiding commenting on the hair? It's hard to look past it.
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear Adam!
Happy Birthday to you!
Hope you all have a great time with Nick and Gabrielle in Croatia!
Finally think I'm online. Great to see you're having a fantastic time, I'm very envious. This blogging thing is terrific. Really looking forward to seeing some pics from Croatia, should be a great trip. Happy travels. Oh yeah, not that you'd be interested as you're living in Scotland but it's raining here, well in Eastern Australia anyway.
Glad to see you got it working Jude!
We have had above average rainfall in May. Some places have had twice average which is great. In the first days of June we have had 44.6mm which is amazing!
